The Nine Network has made the first major change to its line-up, although it is out of the ratings period. The Mentalist is now out of the schedule, despite Nine having just 10 more episodes to screen of the very final season. How things will turn out for Patrick Jane will continue to remain a mystery for Australian viewers… at least for now. Here is hoping that Nine can utilize this once very popular series in a 10:30 slot soon or air new episodes on GEM. Also out of the schedule is new episodes of Person of Interest, pulled just 1 episode prior to the mid season final. Both shows are replaced by movies for now. Nine could not confirm a return date for either show.
